My name is Yisrael Dubov. I'm an actor, editor, and someone who genuinely loves teaching. Those three things are the reason this course exists.
Before I ever became an actor, I worked as an editor. When I stepped into the acting world, something stood out immediately. Talented actors were struggling. Not with their performances, but their reels. Editing felt intimidating, tech felt overwhelming, and the process felt much bigger than it needed to be. Not because actors aren't capable, but because no one shows editing in a way that actually makes sense for actors.
I've now spent over ten years acting and five years editing professionally. That combination gave me a clear perspective. From the acting side, I understand what casting, agents, and managers respond to. From the editing side, I know how simple a strong reel really is when you remove the noise.
